Case Study: Helping MyDek Streamline 3PL Operations with Zoho Integration

When MyDek, a manufacturer of non-combustible decking systems, needed a way to connect their Zoho Inventory platform with their third-party logistics (3PL) provider’s warehouse management system (WMS), we were brought in to make that connection seamless.

The Challenge:

Bridging the Gap Between Systems

MyDek relies on a 3PL partner for warehousing and fulfillment, with their internal systems built around Zoho Inventory. But the lack of integration between Zoho and the 3PL’s WMS created friction. Manual processes were prone to error, time-consuming, and hard to scale. MyDek’s operations team needed a way to automate order handoffs and synchronize data between systems in real time.

The Solution: Custom Integration Using Zoho Scripting and 3PL Webhooks

We started by consulting with both MyDek’s operations team and the 3PL’s IT department to fully understand the workflows and technical requirements on both ends. From there, we designed a custom integration using Zoho’s scripting capabilities alongside the 3PL’s WMS API and webhooks.


The integration enabled automatic order transmission from Zoho Inventory to the 3PL system and real-time updates back to MyDek on order status, shipment tracking, and inventory levels. This closed the loop and eliminated the need for manual data entry or duplicate processes.

The implementation was carried out in close coordination with both MyDek and their logistics provider. By working directly with the teams involved, we ensured that the integration aligned with real-world workflows, not just technical specifications. Testing was done incrementally, with adjustments made based on feedback to ensure reliability and data accuracy.
